Taking on the insane task of leaving your mark in history, in this day and age, being a regular human being….no different than you, or anyone else... This is something that can make you very hard on yourself. I set highly unachievable goals, because I know getting close is a feat in itself. This lifestyle sets you up for a lot of disappointment, failures, and some harder to deal with than others.
I have always said knowledge is king, the more you know the better. Now I understand….Experience is king. Knowledge only gives you the opportunity to gain experience, it doesn’t guarantee it.
When I don’t hit my astronomically high goal, it’s nice to know I have touched the lives of so many people in my field, it’s not until I stop ‘grinding’, putting in my ‘all-nighters’ that I get a chance to talk with my long-time friends. My friends that I have known since I was 13+ years old, which do exactly what I do. They live in different states, and countries all across the world. I have been to so many cool places, and seen so many cool things…I am truly blessed. I realize just how much I have helped people in their company, life, or even just with their computer emergency in general…
I don’t do this for the winning, or for billions of dollars, I do it for all the losses, all the hard times, and all the blessings I have in my life. That way when I succeed, I take care of the people I love, that have been putting up with my crazy ass, which actually thinks that one day he is going to change the world… LOL!
Thank you God, for giving me the strength and the gifts to not only give it a shot, but also the strength, that always gets me back on my feet, just to try it all over again.
This post is dedicated to my Family, Friends, and everyone that fuels my inner flame by asking my favorite question…. “How did you do that?” I love you all. Ok, now back to work! Lol!
